There’s also a Teen Driver function that will need to be set to “off” as well.

Double-check that all your cameras and sensors are in good working condition, providing clear visibility. Lastly, remember that the Driver Attention Camera system is always watching to detect if you’re fully focused on the road ahead.

How to Use Super Cruise:

Step 1: Locate the Adaptive Cruise Control button on your steering wheel and then press it to turn on. Once turned on, look at your instrument cluster, and you’ll see it appear in white. If you’ve already activated the Adaptive Cruise Control feature, a green symbol with a speed shown will appear.

Step 2: In order for Super Cruise to kick on, not only do you have to be on a compatible road, but all other driving conditions must be met, and the driver must be paying attention. Once it’s determined all is ok, it will then appear in white on your instrument cluster.

Step 3: When it’s safe, simply press the Super Cruise button on the steering wheel and wait for the symbol and steering-wheel light bar to illuminate in green. Once they do, you can go hands-free on the wheel. But remember, never take your hands off until you see the green light. To turn off Super Cruise, just press the button again or give a quick tap on the brake pedal.
